THE PERFECT OTHER
Does
love make us weak or does it make us strong? Why is it fatal to fall in love and
why is it fall? Why not rise in love? May be, as the emotion is inexplicable
and complicated. Love explores a dichotomy of sorts, you win and lose at the
same time, and it is like tasting success and failure simultaneously. May be as
there are no absolutes in love, there are no rules of the game and the stakes
are insurmountably high.
Uncertainty
is the name of the game, you might meet a few wrong people before meeting the
right one, but when you do, you will know why it never worked out with anyone else.
Or you might know the perfect other from the moment you see the person,
sometimes just a fleeting glance is enough to know what takes a lifetime to
find out..They say, you never see love come, you only see it go, but I
disagree, of course you see it come, you feel the rush, you experience the
ecstasy, you discover the exhilaration, you get the spring in your step, you
smile foolishly all the time and just
being with someone makes the world a more beautiful place … When you find that
special someone, nothing else seems to matter, everything seems to fade away,
you want to share the best and the worst, your hopes, your dreams, your darkest
deepest desires, your fears, your trials and tribulations. You want to smell a
flower, you want to stare at the sunset, you want to run bare feet on the sand,
nature’s colors seem brighter and more brilliant,, this magical feeling is love
Yet
giving someone all your love does not come with the assurance or guarantee that
they will love you back , and even if they do , the guarantee that it will last
forever............. But, it will be beautiful while it lasts, it will feel like living
your dream. It is your chance to be the miracle and experience magic… but then
when you open your eyes, you will have to wake up and face the world...with or
without that love. Yet, to love moderately or pragmatically will be defiance, a
sacrilege of an emotion which is defined by its intensity, its degree of
extremity.
According to Greek mythology humans were
originally created with 4 arms 4 legs and a head with 2 faces. Fearing their
power, Zeus split them into two separate parts, condemning them to spend their
lives in search of their other. Even in our
times, of instant coffee and instant love, there are people like me, who
believe in a kindred soul, the perfect other, and the better half which
completes you. I truly
believe there is a perfect other, finding him or her is may not be easy ….but
there is someone for everyone, someone who make life worth it, someone who
makes you complete. Someone who can completely turn your world around. So,
don’t give up, you can't give up because if you give up, you'll never find your
soul mate. You'll never find that half who makes you whole and that goes for
everything. Just because you fail once, does not mean you stop trying, you will
fumble, you will falter , you might even fall but then you will rise again like
the phoenix from ashes and then you will spread your wings and fly…So ,just
hold on , just hold on long enough and so don’t let dreams die, …you may not succeed
at once , but you have to try.
